Heat magazine released the results of its online poll of the favourite brands of its predominantly female fans (aged 16-30), with its first ever heat 5 Star Awards 2010.
Results
•Best hangout – News Café (14.7%); Cubana (12.5%) votes
•Best TV Soap – 7de Laan – (35.4%); Isidingo (16.3%) and Binneland Sub Judice (9.7%); Days of Our Lives (7.8%)
•Best TV series – Desperate Housewives (18%); Grey’s Anatomy (12.5%),
•Best Reality show – Keeping Up with the Kardashians (26%)
•Best Entertainment – E! Entertainment (42.3%)
•Best TV personality honours – Jeannie D (25.5%), with Anele, Janez and Colin Moss also making it into the top four.
•Best local artist – The Parlotones (28.8%); Prime Circle (12%)
•Best bank – Absa (32.7%)
•Best chocolate – Lindt (18.5%)
•Best gadget – Nintendo WII (17%)
•Best takeaway – Nando’s (16.7%)
•Best car – BMW (18%).
